digitalBAU, which has now established itself as an indispensable future trade fair for the construction industry, took place in #Cologne for the third time. It describes itself as a #platform that is there for everyone who wants to actively shape the future of the construction industry: This refers to #startups through to established #companies, which impressively showcased the topics of #prefabrication via digitalization, #AI and #robotics at the trade fair.

From February 20th to 22nd, more than 10,000 visitors were able to find out about #innovations and trends from over 270 exhibitors from 16 countries in the areas of #digital #construction sites, #connectivity, #smartcity and #circularconstruction. In more than 140 presentations and discussion panels, over 180 speakers presented solutions for digital and sustainable planning and construction.

The construction industry is facing enormous #challenges, as the demand for construction is huge and skilled workers are scarce. Companies are required to build ever more effectively, efficiently and sustainably. In the face of numerous pressing challenges, the path to the future inevitably leads through innovation and digital transformation. As we move forward, the mantra is clear: become #faster, use #technology and #reduce bureaucracy. The industry needs to come together to tackle these challenges head on.
