Recently we kicked off our latest REHAU New Ventures start-up investment in CoStore on #LinkedIn. Now happy to see the two Co-Founders Marcel Philipp Lang and Jannes Koepcke being back from Inside Self-Storage 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗼 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 𝗶𝗻 𝗟𝗮𝘀 𝗩𝗲𝗴𝗮𝘀!

What is the most promising to us is the gap which still exists between the US and Europe. In Europe there are only 𝟲,𝟵𝟮𝟵 𝗦𝗲𝗹𝗳-𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 (FEDESSA - Federation of European Self Storage Associations, 2023) registered whereas in the US we are facing more than 𝟱𝟬,𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝗦𝗲𝗹𝗳-𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 (Sparefoot, 2023).

Additionally, there is a significant surge in the adoption of mobile storage facilities, like container storage units. This trend is driven by their capacity for rapid expansion across different sites, cost-effectiveness, adaptability, and reduced regulatory constraints concerning construction standards.

Well, they must identify the appropriate champions within their organization to lead discussions from a strategic standpoint and raise awareness for the startup within their organization.

🌏 Navigating towards Net-Zero in the Built environment: Enhancing sustainability within the built environment remains a vast realm of opportunity for startups and innovators across hardware and software domains.

💰 Corporate venture capital (CVC) arms wield a unique power in today's Construction Tech landscape, offering startups an edge through their deep industry knowledge and connections. It's reassuring to recognize the pivotal role CVCs can play in startup triumphs. To foster mutually beneficial outcomes for investors and founders alike, CVCs should retain observer status and a stake that permits subsequent funding rounds from other venture capitalists or strategic backers. With a strategic approach, corporate innovation, corporate venturing, and construction technology can flourish harmoniously.

By utilizing already developed but underutilized space, Costore undoubtedly provides an excellent solution to its customers!
