📢 How we tackle the topic of #NewWork in our early innovation process! 📢
This semester we conducted a seminar together with Master students from Institut für Entrepreneurship & Innovation (IEI) der Uni Bayreuth called Applied Corporate Entrepreneurship.
In 10 weeks the 4 teams worked on topics within the megatrend #NewWork and as first step derived opportunity areas within that field. Each team dived deep into one opportunity area in the sectors Employers, Employees, New Workforce and Tool & Collaboration.
In a joint ideation workshop, we generated 50+ promising ideas of which the teams had to prioritize based on several criteria such as market potential. Not always an easy decision, this is for sure. 😊
The 4 teams then had developed this idea, conducted a proper market sizing, interviews with the target group, screened the competition just as you would if you want to build a #venture.
Last week the final pitches were on the agenda, and the students really impressed us, not only by the quality of the research but also by the dedication for their topic and way they pitched to us.
Working together with university helps to get outside-in-perspective & and also some fresh mindeset. The newest generation aims very much for purpose, considers the topic of sustainability in a certain way and due to many other reasons they are a source of inspiration.
