New Ventures as B2C pioneers within the REHAU group! What sounds sexy & simple is partially very basic! ⚙

Oh yes, definitely! We are so glad that when we formed as an independent venture builder of the REHAU Group, we at the same time got the freedom to built a lean ecosystem and backbone for all our heterogeneous ventures & business models. With Xentral ERP Software we implemented a cloud based Saas that connects Amazon, Shopify, Mollie, PayPal, Stripe, Taxdoo and several other providers that you simply need to do a great B2C business.

We use Xentral for master data management, order & invoice management, logistics & warehousing, preaccounted bookkeeping, payment management and more. This year we have received more than 80k end-customer orders 📦 in our E-commerce Ventures. Imagine if we had to step into this process with any kind of manual interaction. 🙄

💡 Learning: Think about the operations once you launch new business models to the market well in advance! It is worth it!

For example, we met an experienced expert in the field of #cybersecurity. Now we want to develop a new type of workshop format on IT security with her."

This was reported by Isa-Aimée von Campe and Marie Sophie Enzberger who just came back from their unforgettable trip to Israel attending the #DLD Innovation Festival being the highlight!

As REHAU and REHAU New Ventures we are privileged to support such ambitious female founders and give them an international platform by sponsoring the DLD trip.
They even took the chance to go on stage at one of the DLD sessions and share encouragements for young founders to take a leap of faith and go for it in their entrepreneurial journey.

ONE REHAU New Ventures – ONE Innovation Lab! About superpower 💪 and hunting zones 🏹!

Early this year we just kicked-off the ONE Innovation Lab New Ventures!

In a nutshell:

🦸‍♂️ 🦸‍♂️We have strengthened the approach of having diverse & cross-functional competencies on board from the very beginning of the innovation process. Having innovation architects collaborating with software developers & UX designers in ONE innovation lab helps intensively to activate superpower with all kinds of design and tech perspectives.

🎯 Hunting zones! With “Better Livling” and “Digital Construction” we have clear search fields we want to tackle. The methodology is aligned and it is essential now to deepen our domain knowledge within the zones. Construction Technology this is were we have been already active for a while with active ventures in the market. "Better Living" has been sharpened now with a clear staffing and focus.

👊 We again celebrated our entrepreneurial mindset: make smart decisions, reflect, learn, iterate & adapt. Great to see the spirit of the team! Proud of all our superwomen & supermen, huntress & hunters! Let´s bring New Ventures together to the next level!

E-commerceNew Ventures goes networking! We just joined AMZ\_HACKERS 2023 live in Stuttgart this weekend! What a blast!

When Germany's most powerful Amazon Sellers meet, we simply cannot miss it. 💪 Christoph Hacker as a now almost long-time member (Wow time flies!) of the AMZ community was joining the event. The AMZ\_Hackers have actually accompanied us on our E-commerce journey from the very beginning. There is so much this community offers to us in terms of knowledge, sharing, experience, network and tools (ADFERENCE, SellerLogic GmbH, AMALYZE AG, Helium 10...).

Interesting for us: it seems that (apart from the well-known E-commerce aggregators) not many big companies / corporates / venture builders / similar companies like us are part of the community. Most of them are (single) entrepreneurs with a small to very big business. Two weeks ago the University of Bayreuth with their Entrepreneurship & Innovation Uni Bayreuth team around Dr. Nathalie Prüschenk and Prof. Petra Beermann and many more hosted the DLD-Pitch Event with four aspiring student startup teams!

diGIRLab by Isa-Aimée von Campe and Marie Sophie Enzberger won the Pitch Competition with their great concept to teach girls digital skills in a unique #Metaverse environment and won a trip to the renowned Digital Innovation Festival #DLD in Tel Aviv!

REHAU, REHAU Automotive and REHAU New Ventures are glad to support this great initiative to foster entrepreneurship in the region and to sponsor the trip to Tel Aviv and wish diGIRLab all the best for the future and an unforgettable trip!!

Happy very first birthday Your Home Gmbh! 🎉 We just successfully finished the spin-off of our venture euerzuhause and this actually feels so fantastic!

Congrats to Irina Schwentner Thomas Raab & Team for now being able to operate in an own legal entity! Setting up this separate legal entity again strengthens independency & flexibility and is therefore a perfect basis for all to come!

Meanwhile "Company Building" is really a core discipline within New Ventures as the corporate Venture Builder of the REHAU Group. Making the spin-offs become reality is just a tiny little aspect in this whole process of venture building. And it simply shows that start up spirit & corporate backing can really be a great match! Kudos to Matthias Hille & Team!
